Event Descriptions

Day 1

1. Mock Interview:

                The mock interview is the best way to give the students a firsthand experience on how to face an interview and helps them analyse themselves and improve their self-presentation. And we at NEN love to do it our way, in the style that recruitments for the E-Cell take place.
                Time: 1:30pm to 2:45pm
                Venue: Seminar hall, new block

2. Ad making:

                This event would be concentrating on both, the creative and marketing skills of the participants. The team would be given a product and theme and they have to come up with a script for advertising the product and enact it.
                Time: 3:00pm to 4:15pm
                Venue: Seminar hall, new block

Day 2

3. Debate:

                Debate is the best way to come out with your views as well as learn a lot about the topic in concern. The debate would help the students learn more about the market and its ways.
                Time: 1:30pm to 3:00pm
                Venue: Seminar hall, new block

4. Crisis Analysis:

                The Crisis Analysis is an event where the participant is given a situation or crisis that a certain business or firm is experiencing. The participant has to come up with the best solution possible for the problem.
                Time: 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Day 4

5.Idea Day:

                This event would have students come up with ideas pertaining to the theme of the E-week 2013, “Innovating for India”, or any other ideas which would benefit their college/locality/society/country in any way possible.
                Time: :Admin, new block

6. B-Plan:

                This event would have participants come up with a proper Business proposal of any (imaginary) start-up they have in mind and would (might) want to set up in future.
                Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm
                Venue: Seminar hall, new block

7. Caption Writing:

                Captions are the best way to describe your product/firm in a very creative way in order to attract the public. Captions play an important role in marketing your product. This event requires the students to have a good knowledge of the captions of all the leading companies of various fields and also, to come up with better and alternative captions for the same.
                Time: 3:30pm to 4:20pm
